@-To play multiplayer games with 1 UMD rather than the two-

-METHOD A-
" I was playing around with the PSP and I wanted to play a multiplayer game with my friend. But because he did not have the game I was trying to figure out a way to play with only one copy. And I found out that it is actually pretty easy. I tested the game with Twisted Metal and it worked great. To play any multiplayer game on a Sony PSP with only one copy of a game, do the following:

  • Place the game into the 1st PSP. Start the game. Start a Multiplayer Ad-Hoc game. (Set the time to unlimited because moving the game between the units takes a while.) Enter the game.
  • Once you are in the game, remove the game from the unit. A message will appear asking whether you want to exit the game, say NO! The game should resume.
  • Now take the game and place it into the 2nd PSP. Start the game. Now go to Ad-Hoc games and find the server that the other PSP has already started. Enter the game.
  • And now you are playing eachother on two PSPs with only one copy of the game.

This works great, but I bet you Sony doesn't like it. Also to be on the safe side I removed my memorystick to prevent any possible data loss if the unit freezes. Also when you want to exit the game it might freeze. And even trying to power off the unit might not work. To solve this problem just place the game into the frozen PSP and it will do some loading and then resume normally.

-To run the redirect using Wipeout Pure with an 11b network-

" If you have a PSP, set your Primary DNS server to

67.171.70.72

-- I've got a portal of sorts up. Set your secondary DNS to your router along with your gateway, so if my IP changes or my machine goes down, you'll still be able to access the internet. Then just fire up Wipeout and head to the downloads section, you should see this:

-To view HTML files off of the psp stick -

So this will make apps easy to make for the psp...
You need to have Wipe Out and a connection to the net for just a bit of time

This is how:

Host a webpage on the net and put this in the html page:

Quote:

<html>
<body>
<a href="file://fatms0:/html/game.html">Memory Stick</a>
</body>
</html>

Now get ur psp and make a folder called "html" on the root dir, then extract the file below to ur html folder in ur psp mem stick:

"Ummm srry but my host won't let me put a zip file for some reason....
Ill get it hosted soon, Its only the PSP Tic Tac Toe from webtopsp.com"

just make a small test html page and put it in ur html folder on ur psp mem stick and call it "game.html"

now go on ur wipeout pure and open the web browser and go to ur host page on the net.

Click on the link called Memory Stick and BAM u got ur Page/game of the mem stick!

If you want to test it turn off ur router or get away from it and hit refresh. (Square Button)

Basicaly the first game to run off the mem stick

you can also go to the psp directly with out a host by typing out:
"file://fatms0:/html/game.html" on the url box.

You can also view animated gifs using this method.
